SusannaG - Confessions of a Crazy Cat Lady

Just another GR refugee.  Other than that, I had a stroke in 2004, and read almost anything I can get my hands on, though I have a particular weakness for history, mystery, and historical fiction.

April Round-Up

The Long Way Home - Louise Penny Some Danger Involved - Will Thomas To Kingdom Come - Will Thomas Cro-Magnon: How the Ice Age Gave Birth to the First Modern Humans (Paperback) - Common - By (author) Brian Fagan Dirty Magic - Jaye Wells Medium Dead: An Alexandra Gladstone Mystery - Paula Paul

The best reads of the month: Louise Penny's The Long Way Home, and two historical mysteries by Will Thomas, Some Danger Involved and To Kingdom Come.

Underwhelmed: Medium Dead, by Paula Paul.  This might work better for another reader, but I just couldn't get past a lady doctor accepted by all and sundry in rural England c. 1881, and an earl of the same period who is a barrister by day, and whose hobby is lock-picking. Also the mystery element was a bit lacking, though I did like the lack of any love triangle.  I hate love triangles.  (This was a Net Galley read, and I didn't know when I requested it that it was the 4th volume in a series.  Wish I'd known that at the time.)
