SusannaG - Confessions of a Crazy Cat Lady

Just another GR refugee.  Other than that, I had a stroke in 2004, and read almost anything I can get my hands on, though I have a particular weakness for history, mystery, and historical fiction.

August Book a Day #7: Enjoyed by Several Generations

Dombey and Son - Charles Dickens, Jonathan Lethem

My grandmother was a huge fan of Dickens, and this one, Dombey and Son, was one of her favorites.  She always said it was one of her mother's favorites, and one of her grandmother's, as well.

My parents both love it, and so do I.

I think that's five generations of fans!
