Just another GR refugee. Other than that, I had a stroke in 2004, and read almost anything I can get my hands on, though I have a particular weakness for history, mystery, and historical fiction.
The Good Soldier Svejk, by Jaroslav Hasek, a novel about the war in Austria-Hungary, is my pick.
It's a brilliant work of satire, and very funny. I've heard it described as "the Czech Catch-22."
