Just another GR refugee. Other than that, I had a stroke in 2004, and read almost anything I can get my hands on, though I have a particular weakness for history, mystery, and historical fiction.
This is book 4 of Gary Corby's series about Nico, a detective in classical Athens (the year is 459 B.C.), and I found it as entertaining as the other three. This one features a long-dead, much-hated tyrant's body showing up in the wrong place, a dead girl and her missing best friend, memories of the battle of Marathon, a giant dancing bear, a pissed-off playwright, Athenian divorce law, conspiracy theories, and Pericles trying to weasel out of another bargain. Also, Nico and Diotima finally get married. I enjoyed every minute of it.
