SusannaG - Confessions of a Crazy Cat Lady

Just another GR refugee.  Other than that, I had a stroke in 2004, and read almost anything I can get my hands on, though I have a particular weakness for history, mystery, and historical fiction.

Garment of Shadows, by Laurie R. King

Garment of Shadows - Laurie R. King

Garment of Shadows is a return to form for Laurie R. King's Mary Russell/Sherlock Holmes series, after a rather weak The Pirate King (I gave the latter 2 1/2 stars).

This one features amnesia, a fun Moroccan 1920s setting, and the return of two of my favorite supporting characters - Ali and Mahmoud Hazr.  (Don't read this if you haven't read The Beekeeper's Apprentice, O, Jerusalem, Justice Hall, and The Pirate King, at a minimum.  Though I'd recommend reading this series in order pretty strongly.)

Not one of the very best in the series for me, but a good fun trip.
