SusannaG - Confessions of a Crazy Cat Lady

Just another GR refugee.  Other than that, I had a stroke in 2004, and read almost anything I can get my hands on, though I have a particular weakness for history, mystery, and historical fiction.

September Book a Day #24: Best Book(s) Set in the 1920s

The Great Gatsby - F. Scott Fitzgerald Whose Body? - Dorothy L. Sayers The Secret of Chimneys - Agatha Christie The Sun Also Rises - Ernest Hemingway Decline and Fall - Evelyn Waugh Justice Hall - Laurie R. King The World of Jeeves - P.G. Wodehouse

I went with a mixture of classics (Great Gatsby, Sun Also Rises), Evelyn Waugh's first novel, Decline and Fall (published 1928), the first Lord Peter Wimsey novel, a period Agatha Christie, one of the Mary Russell novels, and Jeeves.

All are great reads, or great fun, or both.
